Website Development

Your customers deserve a digital experience that makes sense from the first click. Three Piece Marketing builds websites from the ground up, bringing strategic thinking, user-led design and technology together to drive action.

Do you need a new website or website refresh?

Build a new website when:

  • You’re launching a new business, brand or service.

  • You’ve relied on referrals and need a stronger digital presence.

  • Your website no longer reflects your business.

  • You explain your value better in person than online.

  • Customers need a better way to enquire, book, buy or interact with you.

  • You need a website that can support where the business is going next.

  • The technology your website is built on is not supporting your marketing needs.

Refresh your existing website when:

  • You’re entering a new target market or targeting a new audience.

  • Visitors aren’t turning into enough enquiries or sales.

  • Customers struggle to find or understand what they need.

  • Your technology, functionality or integrations are holding you back.

Our website build approach

Discovery

We define the objectives, customer pain points and requirements. For an existing site, we also identify what is working, what is not and what is worth retaining.

Information Architecture

We create or refine the structure, organising information into logical pathways that help customers find what is relevant to them.

Content

We determine what needs to be communicated, developing content or refining what already exists to make your proposition clear.

Design & UX

We create a customised, user-led experience, whether establishing a new digital presence or improving the way customers interact with your current one.

Build

We develop the solution on the right platform for your requirements, with responsiveness, accessibility, discoverability, and performance built in as standard.

Migration & Launch

Where there is an existing site, we manage the transition of agreed content and data and will develop a site redirection strategy for you. We test the complete experience before taking the new site live.

Optimisation

Once live, we use performance data and customer behaviour to measure, refine and identify further opportunities to improve the experience.

Choosing the right technology for your website

There’s no single platform that’s right for every business. What matters is what you need your website to do, how your team will use it and where the business is heading. As a platform agnostic agency, we find the right solution for your needs rather than shoe-horning you into a platform because it suits us.

We have worked with

1. WordPress
2. Shopify
3. Magento
4. Kentico

And more! We’re not limited to these platforms. The technology we recommend is determined by what the project actually requires.

We also help you develop integrated platforms that connect these functions, so we can create a website for you that supports both the customer experience and the way your business operates.

If you are currently working on another platform that is not listed, let us know and we can start from there; or if you are unsure which platform to use, reach out to us.

What happens after your website goes live

Some people call it website maintenance.

We see it as enhancement.

Our support packages give you access to the team that can help you:

  • Keep your website updated and resolve technical or compatibility issues
  • Make page and content updates when you need them
  • Add new functionality, integrations or payment gateways
  • Improve site speed and overall performance
  • Address issues affecting your search performance
  • Improve responsiveness and UX so your customers always have the best digital experience

We’ve solved some very different website problems; here are a few.

Customers couldn’t easily understand what the business did

Clarke Murphy Print knew print inside out. Its customers didn’t, yet the website expected them to. Services were difficult to navigate and too much knowledge was assumed before a customer could work out what they needed.

Three Piece Marketing developed a roadmap, restructured how the services were presented and redesigned the website around a much simpler customer journey, supported by stronger SEO foundations.

The change resulted to page views increasing by 200% following launch, and organic search accounting for almost 55% of website traffic.

The path from interest to enquiry was harder than it needed to be, which was affecting customery journey

Campervan Rental Shop needed to make it easier for customers to find the right campervan and move from browsing to enquiry, without creating more work for the team behind the scenes.

Three Piece Marketing mapped the customer journey, removed barriers to conversion and developed a website that connected the customer experience with the business behind it.

Enquiries now flow directly into the system, customer numbers are assigned automatically, and invoices are generated, sent and paid through the process.

The website became a sales engine. Search generated 752 enquiries, with 89% converting to a sale and delivering an 11.9x return on ad spend.

Disconnected systems that were creating unnecessary work

The Landscape Association was dealing with more than a website problem. Membership renewals, events, payments, communications, and administration were being handled across multiple systems, making things harder for both members and the team managing them.

Three Piece Marketing brought those moving parts together into one platform, combining the website with eCommerce, membership functionality and automation so more of the member journey and the work behind it could happen in one place (Membership renewals, event registrations, revenue, member interactions and communications)

The result was a website that became part of how the organisation operates.

Questions, answered.

We are platform agnostic. The right platform for your business depends on what it is trying to achieve.  Our recommendation for a platform is based on this core understanding.

The problem with an AI website is that the outcome is only as good as the brief. For example, if you do not have a good understanding of your proposition, it will affect the customer journey and AI will not necessarily pick that up on its own.

That is where Three Piece Marketing adds value – by working out what your website needs to solve, then determining the best way to build it so judgement and accountability always remain with our team.

AI can surely help you build things quickly (and maybe at a lower cost), but the bigger question is whether you know exactly what to ask it to build.

We can work with you to develop an AI site if that is your preference, as we will use our expertise to ensure you get a solid outcome.

The right answer depends on the functionality of the website. A template can make sense if you want a very simple website and need it at speed. However, if the template starts dictating the customer journey or forcing your business into a structure that does not fit, it is better to build a custom website.

In most cases, Three Piece Marketing will write the website content for you. If you you’re your content is strong enough as it is, we can suggest updates that enhance it for SEO and AEO and ensure it is supporting the broad customer journey.

Search is considered from the beginning of the website build process. – We find out what your customers are actually searching and asking, so we know where the – opportunities are – We use that insight to shape the website, from what pages you need to how they connect – We build the content around real search behaviour, while making sure it still sounds like you – – We get the technical foundations right, so search engines and AI platforms can find and understand your content

Before launching the website, we identify important existing pages and URLS, determine where they belong on the new website, and put appropriate redirects in place.

We always make sure we are not throwing away the search equity the old website has built.

We will continue to work with after launching your website. We measure what happens after launch and continue to refine where there are opportunities to. SEO, AEO, GEO becomes part of an ongoing approach to keep your business visible wherever your customers are searching.
